As two professionals with busy careers, we considered the legions of other couples who face the same daily dilemma: What should we do for dinner?

And must one of us merely swap office work for kitchen work when it is finally time to relax?  

Cooking in Couples seeks to redefine the time spent in the kitchen for couples who find themselves with limited time for just about everything -- including planning the evening meal and for spending time with each other.  Cooking can be fun, relaxing, and even therapeutic if you just let it.  And it is much more fun with two cooks than one.

Based in that city so famous for its appetite for love and its love of appetite, we also hope to share just a little bit of what Paris has to offer a couple of gourmands.  We have included a page on what is going on behind the scenes in modern Paris kitchens and will soon be adding another on what we think are the best hidden (and not-so-hidden) gems on the French capital's restaurant circuit.
